The Hydro Float Valves are designed for fixed installations that operate with the use of holding tanks. Given that a pump consumes significantly less water per minute than what a typical city water line provides, an automated shutoff valve is essential to prevent overflow. As the water level in the tank increases, the float valve reaches its cutoff point and stops the water flow.
