Why Use RV/Pink Antifreeze?
Unlike automotive antifreeze, which can be harmful to your jetter's internal components, RV/Pink Antifreeze is environmentally friendly and non-caustic. It won't cause premature wear to the water pump, tank, or lines, ensuring your jetter remains in peak condition throughout the winter. Automotive antifreeze in green or blue should never be used. Always opt for RV/Pink Antifreeze for winterizing your hydro jetter.
How to Winterize Your Jetter
Start by adding up to 15 gallons of RV/Pink Antifreeze to your jetter's antifreeze system (if equipped), or directly into the water tank. While circulating the antifreeze, keep the engine and pressure at the lowest setting to avoid damage. Ensure you do this each time your jetter is exposed to freezing temperatures, even while en route to job sites, as ice buildup can still occur during transport.

For additional protection, store your jetter indoors whenever possible. This combination of indoor storage and continued use of antifreeze will help prevent damage from freezing weather. Our RV/Pink Antifreeze comes in easy-pour, 5 1-gallon bottles, making winterization simple and mess-free. Larger jetters may require more bottles.
